OUR MISSION
At Patriotic People Against Trafficking (PPAT), we stand united in our unwavering commitment to combat human trafficking, a heinous crime that preys on the innocence of children, teens and vulnerable individuals. Our association is resolute and will not succumb to fear while seeking the truth behind these heart-wrenching acts of trafficking, both overseas and in our own neighborhoods.
Our mission is to bring light to the darkness by having the true heart of a patriot against these trafficking terrorists! PPAT has eyes to see, ears to hear, mouths to speak, and hands to do - whatever is necessary to uncover this evil in every corner of our nation and the world, exposing the predators who perpetrate these atrocities. Through our efforts, we aim to shed light on the hidden truths, raise awareness, and end the suffering endured by the hearts, minds and bodies of these victims. There have been too many lost and not found and we will be the voice to the voiceless.
To those who find the topic of human trafficking ‘too uncomfortable to talk about’ WE WILL TALK, OUR CHILDREN WILL TALK, OUR YOUTH WILL TALK. PEOPLE WILL TALK!! There are children trapped in small containers and sold like property, young teens that are trapped within their minds terrified to tell the truth in our neighborhoods, adults who have been unable to overcome shameful pasts of things that never should have happened and are not their faults. DO YOU THINK THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE?
PPAT stands as a beacon of hope for the voiceless and the oppressed, even when discussing uncomfortable topics. We believe that by exposing the uncomfortable realities faced by these innocent victims, we can rally compassionate hearts to join our mission and protect those in vulnerable situations. Our dedicated board will meet regularly to strategize, organize, and effect change at every level. If you are going to be one of those ‘people who talk about people’ you may as well be talking the truth, talking for purpose, talking to bring help and hope.
We call upon all concerned citizens to join us at PPAT hand in hand, that we can confront this issue head-on and ensure that the DARKNESS OF TRAFFICKING TURNS INTO THE LIGHT OF FREEDOM bringing safety for all, and as many as possible safely home. Let the symbol PPAT serve as a beacon of hope, a symbol that we will not rest until we eradicate trafficking and safeguard our communities. It has been said “See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil.” The time has come to also ‘Do no evil’ and Inaction is just as evil as action if you keep silent about trafficking.
We at PPAT are asking all people to be patriots, to educate ourselves and our youth and bring awareness and action together to end human trafficking. TAKE ACTION with PPAT Patriotic People Against Trafficking!
